Pray Big! is a ministry of prophetic intercession and reconciliation for cities, regions and nations. We are called to go and pray wherever God directs in order to assist local churches and ministries with the spiritual battle of overcoming the presence of the enemy and establishing God’s Kingdom in their domain.

These assignments to pray bring cleansing and healing to people and land, and result in an increased measure of the presence of the Lord, greater openness to the gospel, a release of the redemptive gifts of the territory and a stronger connection to the worldwide Body of Christ which is together fulfilling the purposes of God in the earth for the destinies of the nations.

In addition to prayer, we are involved in relating to the churches with whom we pray in these various places. We teach about holding the territory that has been retaken and about reconciliation with the purposes of God. As He directs, we minister deliverance, inner healing and physical healing.  We understand that seeing churches healed and released within nations is a key to seeing the nations come to Christ.

The first step in each individual prayer trip we take is to seek God for a strategy. We realize there are many factors which affect the spiritual atmosphere of a nation or a city: idol worship, witchcraft, a history of social injustice, broken covenants, immorality and bloodshed can all defile a nation, both land and people (1 Cor. 10:19-21, Gal. 5:20, Ezek 8:17; Ezek 9:9; Rev. 9:20). In each individual prayer journey, it is important to understand the “root” issues and causes which need to be addressed. This process of research, prayer and hearing God for a strategy may take anywhere from several weeks to several months, depending on the kind of information which is already available and the amount of work which has already been accomplished in a particular region or nation.

Once we know what the issues are, we ask God how to proceed, and which “weapons of warfare” He wants us to use (2 Cor. 10:4). Some of the weapons God has given us are praise, worship and the arts (2 Chron 20:22, 1 Samuel 10:5), repentance (2 Chron. 7:14), declaring the Word of God (1 Peter 1:10-12; Ephesians 6:17-20), and supplication (2 Chron. 20:9).

As the Holy Spirit reveals the specifics of an assignment, we come alongside apostles, prophets, pastors and intercessors in setting up the actual plans for each trip.  Preparation includes teaching and training of teams, both at the home base prior to an assignment and on the field, for the purpose of protecting, equipping, strengthening and encouraging team members.

In humility, we seek to serve the Risen Christ with all that He has given to us and to see His Glory Presence manifest on the earth in this generation.
